Friso Wiegersma (1925-2006) was the son of Hendrik Wiegersma, a general practitioner and painter from Deurne and was a multi-talent, but saw himself primarily as a painter. Friso was Wim Sonneveld's partner and worked as a set and costume designer for all major Dutch theater companies. From the 1967s onwards he also developed as a songwriter and wrote a number of classics, such as The Village. Later he focused more on his painting. His painting style is figurative, restrained, tranquil and in most works perspective plays an important role. Friso's paintings raise questions. From XNUMX he exhibited in various galleries and museums.
