JEANNETTE SLAGER
's-Hertogenbosch 1881 - 1945 Vught. Jeannette Slager, one of the daughters of PMSlager specialized in painting flower still lifes in oil paint. Her work is characterized by the use of strong colors and a striking effect of light and shadow.
More than once, Jeannette was depicted by her brother Piet.
As a young girl she received lessons from her father and brothers, together with her sister Corry. She lived and worked in 's-Hertogenbosch, The Hague and finally in Vught. Here she settled for good and here she passed away in 1945.
