Museum Slager features works by eight painters from three generations of the Bossche family Slager. The museum has a dynamic exhibition policy. Parts of the collection, grouped around specific themes, are exhibited in constantly changing exhibitions.

The thematic design shows how the painters dealt with the theme in question in various style periods using various techniques.
